Scooter was born in Asheville, NC but moved to Rome, Ga as a young teenager. He is married to Bethany and has two kids, Jack and Hydee. Their family also includes two feline friends. Scooter is known for his fantastic beard growing skills and his awesome dance moves. Scooter enjoys RC racing with Jack when time allows. He joined the DCBC student ministry in 2011. His goal is to teach students to grow their relationships with others but most importantly with God.

Bethany attended DCBC as her home church growing up. She joined Scooter in the ministry in 2000. She enjoys working along with Scooter and loves being a part of the students lives. Bethany is known for staying up extremely late on youth trips and her awesome “wake up” songs at Superwow. Her favorite part of the ministry is seeing students getting involved in their church and sharing their love of Christ with others.
